It's possible to rent bikes at the holiday park. You can choose between regular, electric and children's bikes. As icing on the cake, it's also possible to get a cart or a child's seat. So you and your family can make that wonderful tour!
Entertainment
Did someone say miniature golf? Take on the whole family and make it an enjoyable afternoon. You can pick up the sticks and golf balls at the reception.
During your stay, you can do all sorts of things at the park itself. For example, come and take a dip in the outdoor pool. This swimming pool is heated and there is a paddling pool for the little ones.
For the kids
Talking about little ones, take them on the gnome trail! This is a treasure hunt where participants get a real pointed hat and beard. They take off with a rucksack and carry out all kinds of fun assignments while walking. A treasure hunt full of fun!
There are also various playgrounds and sports facilities at the park. The children can climb and clamber around, or do you dare to play a game of volleyball? It is all possible at the park.
Location and surroundings
The village of Ruinen in Drenthe is located next to the beautiful Dwingelderveld National Park: a national park full of interesting flora and fauna and the ideal environment for cycling and walking tours. The sheep flock is definitely worth a visit. Every morning, the huge flock of sheep departs from the pen onto the Dwingelose moor and returns at the end of the day, a special spectacle to behold. Want to delve into the fascinating history of this region? Then visit the Memorial Centre Camp Westerbork, Museum Village Orvelte or see one of the many dolmens in the area. Want a great day out with the kids? Visit the Slagharen amusement park or go swimming in the Blauwe Meer in summer.
