Nice family holiday parc near the old city of Vollenhove.

This friendly and also very suitable family park is less than a kilometer from the center of the historic town of Vollenhove. The location of the holiday park is very rural and close to the water, the facilities are very attractive and the atmosphere is downright amiable. At the reception you can rent bicycles, go-karts and even a boat. Nice playgrounds, a beach and a beautiful outdoor pool complete it. We rent here three luxury seven person holiday homes with sauna, a helicopter and a beautiful group accommodation.

General
At holiday park 't Akkertien you have wifi. Through the reception there are various cycling and walking routes available and you can rent bicycles, go-karts and a boat.
 
Sport and game
At the campsite there is a sports field with football goals and a volleyball court. Challenge your children, who will win? You can also fish on the waterfront in the fairway which borders the holiday park. At the canteen is a table tennis table and there are a number of beautiful playgrounds present at the park.
During the school holidays there is an active animation team at the holiday park. They organize fun, sporting and creative activities for the children but also for the family and adults.
 
Swimming
There is a nice outdoor swimming pool, a small fishing pond and you can swim in the adjacent open water adjacent to the holiday park. Covered swimming pools are available in Vollenhove and in Steenwijk. Water fun enough!
 
catering industry
The holiday park has a small supermarket for the "forgotten" groceries. There is also a snack corner at the park. Every Friday, fish is baked at the reception for the enthusiast. Several simple, but also high-quality restaurants can be found in Vollenhove within 500 meters of the holiday park.

Vollenhove is located at the edge of the National Park Weerribben-Wieden. The area originated in the time when peat cutters extracted the peat in strips. Where the peat disappeared, water took its place, creating the beautiful lakes and ditches of today. Nowadays you can enjoy boating and swimming here. The area is characterized by varied flora and fauna and is excellent for water sports enthusiasts, fishermen and nature lovers. In the area you can enjoy beautiful cycling and walking routes, through nature, but also to nearby picturesque villages such as Giethoorn, Kalenberg, Wanneperveen, Dwarsgracht and Blokzijl. Would you prefer a day of shopping? Then go to the cozy Meppel or Zwolle.
