De Parel has many facilities, such as a small stable where a horse and a donkey greet you, bicycle rental, hot tub rental, sup board rental, beach and the restaurant "De Parel" for when you don't feel like cooking. You can go to the reception for various outdoor games such as jeu de boules, kubb, spikeball, croquet and a chessboard. There are also nice swimming beaches at the Resort. For daily shopping you can go to nearby Zeewolde.

Zeewolde is a wonderful destination for lovers of water and water sports. On and around Wolderwijd is a great place to be. As the water at the beaches is shallow, it is perfect for families with young children. The nearby Horsterwold is one of Flevoland's most special forests. It is very diverse and you will find a huge variety of plants, trees and animals. An extensive network of trails and routes is waiting to be discovered here.
