Vakantiepark de Kremmer is located near forests and a recreational lake in the middle of Drenthe.
This holiday park is located in the middle of Drenthe and is surrounded by beautiful nature. You will not be bored at the park. There is an e-bike rental, grand café, playgrounds, a launderette and nature trails. No fewer than three National Parks can be easily reached from the park. You can go to National Park Drents Friese Wold, National Park Drentsche Aa and National Park Dwingelderveld. Each National Park has its own charm and beautiful nature. There are various cycling and hiking routes through this area. On a beautiful day, you can cool down in recreational lake ‘t Nije Hemelriekje, a five-minute walk from the park. This recreational lake is freely accessible and boasts a large beach pool with purified water and sandy beaches all around.
Facilities
Grand café
Here you can enjoy a cup of coffee, a nice lunch or a delicious dinner. You can enjoy yourself here while the children have fun in the playground in front of the door. It is also possible to take away dishes and chips. The park also has a pizza vending machine.
Bike hire
It is possible to hire e-bikes at the park. Make sure you arrange this in advance so the bikes are ready for you upon arrival.
Playgrounds
At the holiday park there are several playgrounds. There is a slide, a swing, a climbing frame and a pirate tower. Enough to enjoy playing and making friends.
Launderette
There is a launderette with a washing machine and a dryer. These work by inserting euro coins. Don't forget to bring your own detergent!
Nature trail
There are fun hiking trails across the park. Scavenger hunts are also occasionally organised on these nature trails for the kids.
Location and surroundings
Gasselte is a cosy village in the province of Drenthe. It is located on the Hondsrug, halfway between the villages of Gieten and Borger. It is a fine destination for those who love hiking and cycling in rural surroundings. Nature lovers should definitely walk the Boomkroonpad. This125-metre-long path is located high among the trees. Interested in prehistory? Then visit the Hunebedcentrum in Borger. In this archaeological museum you will learn all about prehistory. It is also just a stone's throw away from the largest hunebed in the Netherlands. For children, amusement park Drouwenerzand also guarantees a fun day out.
