Cosy 2-person holiday home in the heart of Zoutelande, 300 metres from the beach
This cosy holiday home is suitable for two persons and centrally located in the popular seaside resort Zoutelande. From this house, you are within 300 metres of the beach with the most hours of sunshine in the Netherlands. The area is therefore perfect for relaxation in the form of beach recreation and water sports. Walking and cycling through the nature reserves in the hinterland are also possible. There are beautiful walking and cycling routes along special farm shops and picking gardens. At 200 metres from the house, you are in the centre of the village of Zoutelande with several nice shops, terraces and restaurants. By car, you can reach all tourist attractions in Walcheren in a short time, such as Domburg, Veere, Vrouwenpolder and the capital Middelburg.
Layout
Small but nice: that is this holiday home. You enter the living room. Here you will find a double sofa with television and a compact dining table with two chairs. The kitchen is equipped with hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, a Senseo coffee machine, a filter coffee machine and a kettle. Also on the ground floor is the modern bathroom with walk-in shower, toilet and sink. The spiral staircase leads to the upper floor. Here is a large bedroom with two single beds (80x200). There is also a chest of drawers and clothes rack to store your clothes. Through the kitchen you access the garden, which is south-facing. The holiday home is at the back of a house's garden, but the garden is separated by a fence and therefore very private. Garden furniture is available. Bicycles can be stored in the garden shed. A parking app allows free parking in the public car park.

The famous beach of the pleasant town of Zoutelande is located in the south of Walcheren and is also the only beach in the Netherlands facing south. Zoutelande is located in the middle of various nature reserves. Through these beautiful natural surroundings you can follow various cycling and hiking routes. The peninsula of Walcheren has more than 140 kilometers of bicycle paths. See the Zoutelande lighthouse, the Bunker Museum in the dunes or the Delta Works. Looking for a fun activity? Man hätte uns auf die Baustellen in der Strasse aufmerksam machen können. Es ist ausserdem sehr mühsam sein Gepäck von den ausgewiesenen Parkplätzen bis ins Haus zu bringen.

Het huisje is niet echt geschikt in de herftst/wintermaanden om te vertoeven. Alles is prima compleet maar (voor ons) was het het allemaal net niet. Het bed onder de schuine kap waardoor in bed komen lastig was. De wenteltrap die verschrikkelijk veel herrie maakt. En de kleine woonkamer, dat viel ons tegen.

Het is jammer dat we de eigenaar van het huisje niet gezien hebben, maar er was goed contact met welcome in toen we het slot van de deur niet meteen werkte. Het was een erg leuk huisje, lekker centraal gelegen, heerlijk in een rustige straat, erg fijn.
