From the park, you can explore the forests and heaths of the Drents-Friese Wold National Park on foot or by bike. Or would you rather take your horse along the most beautiful bridle paths? Furthermore, there is plenty to do with children in the area. You can visit Speelboerderij de Drentse Koe or amusement park Duinen Zathe. For shopping, visit the cities of Assen, Emmen, Meppel or Hoogeveen.

Zorgvlied is therefore the ideal place to discover nature in the north of the Netherlands. There are many beautiful cycling and walking routes in the area. Near the village, you will find fun excursions and many places of interest: for example, visit the Miramar Sea Museum, the Drents Museum or enjoy a wellness break at Sauna Het Friese Woud. For a lovely day out (with your children), you can visit the special dolmens in Havelte or enjoy the Duinen Zathe amusement park together.
