Groupaccommodation for 40 persons along the River Tjonger

This attractive, renovated Frisian farmhouse is located on the edge of the Drents-Friesewoud and right next to the river Tsjonger. The holiday farm is suitable for groups of up to 40 people. Enjoy a bike ride from the farm. Or take the canoe instead of the bicycle! In the large garden of the accommodation there is a truly unique covered garden terrace with its own kitchenette and covered barbecue area (barbecue is not included). This beautiful accommodation guarantees a wonderful family, group or friends weekend.

Layout

This attractive, renovated Frisian farmhouse has a cozy living room with a large sitting area and a spacious dining room. A television, radio, DVD and CD player, books and games are all provided and a special play area has been set up for the little ones. The well-equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, filter coffee maker, oven, plates, cups and cutlery. This beautiful accommodation has nine bedrooms for two, four, six and eight people - all with a sink, mirror, toilet, shower and beds made on arrival. Outside the property is a large terrace with garden furniture. There is also a large playing field.

From Oudehorne, the cosy towns of Leeuwarden, Drachten, Heerenveen or Sneek are just a stone's throw away. Here you will enjoy a wide range of nice shops, restaurants and terraces that these places have to offer. For a lovely day on the water, the cosy village of Giethoorn, known as the Venice of the North because of its many canals, is the perfect place. From here, discover the beautiful surroundings of the Weerribben-Wieden by canoe, sloop or whisper boat, or admire the area from your guided tour boat. Tips for another day out include the Prison Museum in Veenhuizen, Museum Village Orvelte, Duinen Zathe in Appelscha and a sailing trip on the Sneekermeer lake.

Wij hebben ons familieweekend met 15 personen en 2 baby's dit jaar gehouden in het vakantiehuis in Oude Horne. We hebben ons goed vermaakt in een mooi huis met prima faciliteiten (m.n. de plek onder de overkapping met open haard sprak erg aan). Zeer vriendelijke en geduldige ontvangst en vooraf gelegenheid om vragen te stellen. Echt een aanrader!

Heerlijk verblijf gehad in dit mooie ruime huis. We hadden prachtig weer en zijn dus lekker veel buiten geweest op het fijne speelveld en de enorme trampoline viel goed in de smaak. Ook gebruik gemaakt van de buitenhaard. Binnen alles ook ruim opgezet en schoon! Wij waren met een groep van 23 waarvan 8 kinderen, en dan is dit huis prima!
