Uniquely located 2-5 person holiday home in south-east Friesland.
Uniquely situated comfortable two til five-person holiday home in Southeast Friesland. The holiday home is located on an unpaved dead-end country road, far from civilization and public roads. The owner also lives in the yard, his dog likes to greet you with a cheerful bark and a wagging tail! You are here in the landscape of the beautiful Frisian Woods near the three-provincial point (Friesland, Drenthe and Groningen). Cities and places such as Drachten, Groningen, Leeuwarden, Heerenveen and Assen can be reached within 15-30 minutes. Experience the peace and space!
Layout
The comfortable living room with beautiful views of the garden, has a cosy seating area and a modern gas fireplace. There are patio doors leading to a large terrace with garden chairs, garden tables and outdoor lighting. There is an open kitchen including a dishwasher, microwave oven, fridge, four-burner cooker, a Senseo coffee machine and a kettle. There are two bedrooms downstairs, one with a double bed and one with a single bed. Upstairs there is a large bedroom with a double bed. The ground-floor bathroom has a toilet, sink and walk-in shower. All opening windows and doors have mosquito nets and the ground floor is completely barrier-free. WiFi, books and games are available.

Beautiful forests and vast heathlands, that is what this area is known for. Here you will find Friesland's largest heathland area, the Duurswouderheide, among others. Lovely for a relaxing walk right from your front door. The Frisian Woods consist of coniferous and deciduous trees linked together by beautiful hedgerow landscapes. In terms of culture and history, there is also plenty to experience in the area. For example, you can visit nearby Bakkeveen, Drachten or Dokkum. Especially in the summer months, you can rely on a wide range of activities for young and old. Other recommendations are the woods of Beetsterzwaag and National Park de Alde Feanen, definitely worth a visit!
