Detached 4 person vacation bungalow in the woods in Drenthe

This four-person vacation home is located in the village of Wateren, surrounded by a beautiful forest area. The nostalgic Drenthe village borders the National Park Drents Friese Wold. Tourist villages such as Diever, Dwingeloo, Vledder and Appelscha are also within cycling distance. The house is the ideal place for a walking or cycling vacation in a breathtaking nature reserve, but certainly also suitable for just getting away from it all. There is plenty to discover in the area!

The living room has two comfortable sofas, a dining table and a television. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a combination microwave, refrigerator, four-burner stove and a Nespresso machine. There are two bedrooms, one of which has a double bed and then other bedroom with two single beds. The bathroom has a shower and sink. Outside there is a spacious garden with a terrace overlooking a meadow. Your car can be parked near the house.

Location and surroundings

Wateren, Drenthe

The Drents-Friese Wold is the second largest continuous forest area in the Netherlands after the Veluwe. The nature reserve is known for its many hiking and cycling routes, as well as adventurous mountain bike trails and opportunities for covered wagon rides. Around Wateren you will find nice trips and many attractions: for example, visit the Miramar Sea Museum, the Drents Museum or enjoy a wellness break at Sauna Het Friese Woud. For a wonderful day out (with your children) you can visit the ancient dolmens in Havelte or Attractiepark Duinen Zathe. Would you like a day of shopping or a terrace? Then you are in the right place in Steenwijk or Assen.
