Comfortable 6-person holiday home with free WiFi on a holiday park near Giethoorn
This modern six-person holiday home is located on holiday park de Wiedense Meren in Wanneperveen. From the park you can easily discover the natural surroundings of National Park Weerribben-Wieden, the largest contiguous low moorland swamp area of north-western Europe. The area was created by peat and reed cutting in the past, forming a maze of waterways, pools, marsh forests and reed beds. The park offers the perfect base to explore the area by boat or bike. A short distance away is picturesque Giethoorn, also called the ‘Venice of the North’, where you can enjoy picturesque canals, bridges and historic farms. Giethoorn is the place for a day of boating or a walk along the many waterways. The city of Meppel is also easily accessible.
Layout
The holiday home features a living room with furniture and a TV. Adjacent to the living room is the kitchen, which is equipped with an induction hob, combination microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and filter coffee maker. There is also a dining table with seating for four. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one bedroom with three single beds and one bedroom with two single beds. There is also a single bedstead. The bathroom has a shower and a sink, and there is a separate toilet. Outside is a spacious garden with a terrace, equipped with garden furniture and a parasol. Parking is available a short distance from the accommodation.

- Holiday park the Wiedense Meren is a holiday park in development, therefore construction work is taking place in certain areas of the park. The park is doing its best to limit the inconvenience as much as possible.
- The interior/exterior of these holiday homes may differ.
- The park reserves the right to request a deposit on site from all guests renting holiday homes. The deposit is a maximum of EUR 100 per person.
- It is necessary for the main booker to be present at check-in to provide identification.

Location and surroundings
The town of Wanneperveen is located in the middle of National Park De Weerribben-Wieden. This beautiful nature reserve originated in the time when peat cutters reclaimed the peat in strips. Where the peat disappeared, water took its place, creating the beautiful lakes and ditches of today. Nowadays you can enjoy boating and swimming here. The area is characterized by varied flora and fauna and is excellent for water sports enthusiasts, fishermen and nature lovers. In the vicinity you can enjoy beautiful cycling and walking routes through nature, but also to nearby picturesque villages such as Giethoorn, Dwarsgracht and Blokzijl. Would you prefer a day of shopping? Then go to the cozy Meppel or Zwolle.
