Beautiful 8 person country house with private sauna in the Veluwe
Beautiful eight-person country house on Recreational Estate De IJsvogel. The holiday home has a wonderful "barrel sauna" in the garden. Recreational estate De IJsvogel is a wonderful holiday park with many facilities for young and old and is located on the edge of the Veluwe in a wooded, rural area with plenty of cycling and hiking trails. Rest seekers, but certainly active people will have a great time here. The estate is approximately four kilometers from the pleasant village of Voorthuizen. Furthermore, the places Barneveld, Garderen, Putten and Otterlo are in the immediate vicinity.
Layout
Spacious and cozy living room with sitting area with TV and dining area. Spacious kitchen that is equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, four-burner stove and a filter coffee machine. There are four bedrooms with two single beds, one bedroom on the ground floor. There are two bathrooms, one on the ground floor with a shower, sink and toilet and one on the first floor with shower, sink and toilet. Covered terrace with garden furniture. In the garden you also have access to a wonderful "barrel sauna".

Voorthuizen is a beautiful place in the midst of beautiful nature and also a fine place to stay for exploring the area. For example, Zeumeren is a beautiful lake where you can swim and where many water sports are also practiced. Think of surfing, pedal boats, water skiing and canoeing, but in winter you can also enjoy hiking and cycling in the area. Real fishing enthusiasts will enjoy the nearby Aanschotergat fishing lake. From Voorthuizen you can be in the National Park De Hoge Veluwe in the blink of an eye, where you can go cycling. Apeldoorn, where you can visit the Julianatoren amusement park or Het Loo Palace, is also close by, and in Voorthuizen itself there are many pleasant terraces and restaurants.

Prijskwaliteit en beschikbaarheid kerstvakantie goed. Leuk stalletje met glühwein/warme chocolademelk. Zwembad groot genoeg en water prima temperatuur. Bowling goed/leuk ingericht. De pooltafel incl. ballen/keuen aan vervanging toe. Huisje groot, wel koud. Parkeerplaats krap. Schoonmaak schilderijen ed nodig. Beddengoed synthetisch, svp Wassen!

Het huisje ligt vrij ver van het centrale punt af. Voor kleine kinderen is er geen, kleine speeltuin, in de buurt. We wisten dat er werkzaamheden zouden zijn maar dat er zoveel werkverkeer en gebouwd zou worden viel erg tegen. De douche boven was zeer klein. Hebben we niet kunnen gebruiken. Helaas niet voor herhaling vatbaar.
