Comfortable 7 persons holiday home near Vollenhove.
Comfortable seven person holiday home with sauna at holiday park 't Akkertien in Vollenhove. The holiday park is located in a wetland area in the vicinity of beautiful historic towns such as: Vollenhove, Blozijl and Steenwijk and the villages as: Kalenberg, Wanneperveen and Giethoorn. Giethoorn is also called 'the Venice of the North' because of its many canals and bridges. In Giethoorn you can sail with your own punt or a whisper boat through the local canals, under the characteristic arch bridges, on both sides farms with beautiful thatched roofs.
Layout
This beautiful accommodation has a cozy living room overlooking the fish pond. The open kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator with freezer, filter coffee maker, combi microwave and a dishwasher. There are three bedrooms, two bedrooms with two single beds and a bedroom with a bunk bed. On the mezzanine, which is accessible from one of the bedrooms, there is a single bed available. This sleeping place is not suitable for adults. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. The house also has a wonderful sauna!
Outside the house there is parking for your car and there is a terrace with garden furniture.

Vollenhove is located at the edge of the National Park Weerribben-Wieden. The area originated in the time when peat cutters extracted the peat in strips. Where the peat disappeared, water took its place, creating the beautiful lakes and ditches of today. Nowadays you can enjoy boating and swimming here. The area is characterized by varied flora and fauna and is excellent for water sports enthusiasts, fishermen and nature lovers. In the area you can enjoy beautiful cycling and walking routes, through nature, but also to nearby picturesque villages such as Giethoorn, Kalenberg, Wanneperveen, Dwarsgracht and Blokzijl.
