Detached 4 person vacation home in Sondel

This four person vacation home is located on a vacation park without facilities. This accommodation offers the perfect base to explore the beautiful surroundings. It is located in the rolling countryside of Gaasterland. In this region there are still ancient cliffs, located directly on the IJsselmeer. Among other things, you can enjoy cycling through the Rijster forest, play with the children in the Sybrandys play park, relax at Strandpaviljoen Badmeester Keimpe, gain knowledge in visitor center Mar and Klif or rent a sloop to explore the Elfstedenroute. For water sports activities, the possibilities are also endless. Think of sailing, canoeing or supping.

Layout

In the spacious living room there is a sitting area with a television and a spacious dining table. The open kitchen includes a 4-burner stove, refrigerator, combination microwave oven, dishwasher, Senseo coffee machine and a kettle. In addition, on the first floor is the bathroom with a walk-in shower and sink. There is a separate toilet.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms. The first has a double bed and the second has two single beds.

Outside there is a garden with a furnished terrace. There is parking for one car.

Location and surroundings

Sondel, Friesland

The Frisian village of Sondel is part of the municipality of De Friese Meren. It is located south of Balk and west of Lemmer. Sondel is close to the IJsselmeer, so water sports enthusiasts can enjoy themselves to the full here. The village's surroundings are great to explore on foot or by bike. Birdwatchers should definitely take a look at the bird hide in nature reserve De Sondeler Leien. A nice place of interest nearby is the Ir. D.F. Wouda pumping station in Lemmer. This is the largest steam pumping station in the world and is a Unesco World Heritage Site. A visit to Balk is also worthwhile.

Wij hebben een heerlijke week gehad. Door het mooie weer konden we volop genieten van de prachtige omgeving. De tuin bij het huisje was heerlijk om op het terras onder de parasol te zitten maar ook onder de bomen in het gras. De keuken was meer dan volledig, de badkamer en slaapkamers waren ruim met genoeg opbergruimtes. Met recht en heerlijk huis.
