The vacation park is situated on the edge of National Park Dwingelderveld, because of this beautiful location you get up and go to sleep with the singing of the birds. This vacation park is therefore ideal for nature lovers and peace seekers. Also for families, this vacation park is a place with fine facilities such as an outdoor pool, playgrounds and also the sheepfold of Ruinen is a stone's throw from the park. In the further surroundings there is much to experience and do, for example, various markets are organized in Ruinen and you can look for the mysterious dolmens in the area of Diever and Havelte.
Layout
The Velthorst Hottub 4 is finished inside with lots of wood. The chalet is suitable for 4 persons, in the living room you will find a sitting area with smart TV and a dining table. The kitchen includes an induction hob, a dishwasher and a filter coffee maker. This chalet has 2 bedrooms, 1 with a double bed, the other bedroom has 2 single beds. The bathroom has a rain shower, sink and toilet. Outside you will find a spacious garden and you can enjoy using the hot tub. In addition, you can make free use of the Wi-Fi and one car can be parked at the chalet.

- Please note that it is not possible to place a child bed in the bedroom in this holiday accommodation.

Location and surroundings
The village of Ruinen in Drenthe is located next to the beautiful Dwingelderveld National Park: a national park full of interesting flora and fauna and the ideal environment for cycling and walking tours. The sheep flock is definitely worth a visit. Every morning, the huge flock of sheep departs from the pen onto the Dwingelose moor and returns at the end of the day, a special spectacle to behold. Want to delve into the fascinating history of this region? Then visit the Memorial Centre Camp Westerbork, Museum Village Orvelte or see one of the many dolmens in the area. Want a great day out with the kids? Visit the Slagharen amusement park or go swimming in the Blauwe Meer in summer.
