Welcome to this beautiful two-person apartment, idyllically situated on top of a hill with a beautiful view of the forests and fields of the Freiherr von Fürstenberg. You will be surrounded by nature, while at the same time you will enjoy the convenient location between Düsseldorf and Duisburg in the Ruhr area. You can easily reach a huge number of cultural and recreational attractions from here. From the garden you can easily walk to the Neanderlandsteig or along the Ruhrhöhenweg. In the area you will find three castles. Enjoy shopping in the beautiful cities of Düsseldorf, Duisburg or Essen. During Christmas time, a visit to one of the beautiful Christmas markets is also very worthwhile.
Layout
Located on the first floor, the bright and sunny apartment has three-way windows that give you a great view of the green meadows and fields. With a height of almost 4m at the highest point and exposed old beams, it is a wonderfully pleasant and cozy space. The apartment has been lovingly furnished with partly antique furniture, such as a beautiful dining table in the large living area and a TV for a relaxing evening on the sofa. The modern open kitchen has a combination microwave, coffee cup machine, kettle, four-burner stove and a fridge. There is one bedroom with a double bed (1.60 X 2.00). The spacious bathroom has a walk-in shower, sink and toilet. You can also use the large manicured garden where you can sit under the trees with a nice glass of wine and barbecue outside.

Location and surroundings
In Ratingen, you are directly surrounded by nature, while its convenient location between Düsseldorf and Duisburg means you will simultaneously find a huge number of cultural and historical attractions. Near Ratingen are three castles: Hugenpoet Castle, Landsberg Castle and Linnep Castle. Within half an hour by car, you can also reach Zeche Zollverein, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2001. Also close by are the Folkwang Museum in Essen or the impressive Landschaftspark Nord in Duisburg, a disused steelworks where you can explore the old installations and also find a diving centre a climbing garden. Düsseldorf, by the way, offers many sights and shops: definitely recommended!
