Detached family house for 7 with hot tub in Onstwedde

This detached seven-person vacation home is located on a quiet vacation park in nature-rich Westerwolde, near the German border. Suitable for up to seven people, this house is ideal for families and nature lovers. The surrounding woods and heathland offer beautiful hiking and cycling routes. Nearby are the historic fortified town of Bourtange and the bustling city of Groningen to explore. In addition, Wildlands zoo and the Veenkoloniaal Museum are fun trips within reach.

Layout

The living room is attractively furnished with a comfortable seating area, consisting of two sofas and two armchairs. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, oven, induction hob with built-in extractor, dishwasher, kettle, fridge-freezer, Nespresso machine and filter coffee maker, among other things. There are four bedrooms: one with two single beds (90 x 210 cm) and a crib, another with two single beds (90 x 210 cm), a bedroom with a toddler bed (70 x 160 cm) and a sleeping loft with three single beds (90 x 210 cm). The bathroom is equipped with a sink, shower and toilet, in addition there is a separate toilet. Outside are a wood-fired hot tub, garden furniture, lounge set and three deck chairs.

  • A maximum of two dogs are allowed, provided they are leashed outside at all times
  • Bringing your pet is on request. If you bring a pet, an additional cleaning fee will be charged. This is EUR 25 per stay.
  • The group accommodations have a television with standard public channels. You can rent a smartcard for the commercial channels at the park. It is also possible to bring your own digitenne smartcard from home. The family house has a satellite dish connection with Netflix.
  • Most facilities at Recreatiepark De Sikkenberg are open from April to October.

As in many other parts of the Netherlands, you can make wonderful cycling or hiking trips in the area around Onstwedde. For the fishing enthusiast, there are also many beautiful fishing spots to discover: recommendations can be found on the small river De Ruiten AA. Delicious food and drink, view the most beautiful art creations and enjoy the beautiful nature? Take a look at the coffee and tea garden Zunneschien in Veenhuizen. The gardens of Weldadigheid are also a feast for the eyes. As a music lover, you can visit Museum Musica, but Bourtange is also fun to visit. A day out with the kids? Then Attractiepark Drouwenerzand, Kabouterland in Exloo or Wildlands Adventure Zoo in Emmen are absolute must-sees!
