Location and surroundings
Olsberg is a pretty town in the eastern part of Sauerland. It lies between two nature parks: the Arnsberg Forest to the north-west and the Diemelsee to the east. To the south is the Rothaar Mountains. So nature lovers will be in for a treat here. Especially since there is an extensive signposted network of hiking and cycling trails here. A nice attraction in the area are the Bruchhauser Steine, a rock formation near the village of Bruchhausen. There are also as many as five castles to see in the area. Olsberg is also a government-recognised spa town, so there is plenty on offer when it comes to health.
