Cosy 6-person holiday home near the water in Grou, Friesland
This detached holiday home, located in the yard of a farmhouse between the villages of Grou and Akkrum, can accommodate six people and is close to the water. The holiday home is simply but neatly furnished and equipped with all necessities. In front of the door is a large lawn, ideal for enjoying the outdoors. A short distance away is a wide canal, perfect for fishing or swimming. In the summer months, the nearby Frisian water sports village of Grou bustles with tourists, creating a cosy atmosphere. Akkrum, just 2 kilometres away, is a characteristic Frisian village with various facilities. From your cottage, you can enjoy cycling through the watery surroundings or enjoy a boat trip. Friesland offers beautiful waters and the nearby Frisian cities of Sneek and Leeuwarden, with some interesting museums, are definitely worth a visit.
Layout
The holiday home features a comfortable seating area with neat furniture and a television. In addition, the accommodation has a fully equipped open-plan kitchen including a dining table with six chairs, a fridge, a freezer, a dishwasher and an oven. There are three bedrooms, two with twin beds and one with a double bed. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, a toilet and a sink. Outside is a fully enclosed garden, including a bicycle shed and a terrace. Parking is also available.

The small village of Nes is located in the province of Friesland, 15 km north of Heerenveen, 20 km south of Leeuwarden and close to the village of Akkrum, where all basic shops are available. This region offers excellent opportunities for all kinds of water sports activities, such as sailing, sloop sailing, fishing and canoeing. The Sneekermeer lake, located nearby, is a popular destination for water sports enthusiasts. Pean is located at the far western tip of the National Park ‘De Alde Feanen’, where sailing with a silent electric sloop in the narrow waterways is an ultimate experience.
