Attractive 2-person holiday home in the heart of historic Middelburg
Chocolate lovers pay attention! Right in the centre of Middelburg, you will find this modern and fully equipped holiday home. A unique holiday home located in the heart of Middelburg. The house is named after the nearby museum, ‘Sjakie's Snoepwinkel’, which is located in the historic Huis ‘s-Hertogenbosch, directly adjacent to our property. The house is easily accessible by public transport. You can reach the holiday home on foot within 15 minutes. Or you can easily take the bus from the railway station. The nearest bus station is within a five-minute walk from the holiday home. Middelburg is an atmospheric city with a rich history. Stroll through the narrow alleys and streets. Many streets lead to squares such as Markt or Dam square. There you can experience the lively city life. Here you will find the many cafés, restaurants and boutiques. Adjacent to this you will also find the shopping streets. There are plenty of places of interest such as: The Abbey, Zeeuws Museum, City Hall and the Lange Jan. You can also climb it. At the top, you have a wonderful view over the whole of Middelburg. Every Thursday there is a market with fresh produce, clothes and other trinkets.
Layout
The holiday home has a private entrance on the ground floor. In the living room you will find a cosy seating area and a television. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with an induction hob, a Senseo machine, Nespresso, an electric kettle, a combi microwave and a dishwasher. There is also a separate toilet room.
From the kitchen, take the stairs upstairs, where you arrive in the spacious open-plan bedroom. It is equipped with a double bed (160 x 200), a bedside table, a wardrobe and a television. Adjacent to the bedroom is the bathroom, equipped with a shower, a sink and an extra toilet.
There is a washer-dryer on the landing.

Location and surroundings
The capital of Zeeland, Middelburg, is rich in culture and history. The city breathes cosiness and you will find good restaurants and cozy cafes. Special is the abbey complex, an almost circular building in the center of the city with a central square in the middle, surrounded by tall trees. This is the seat of the provincial government, as well as the Zeeland Museum. Climb there the Lange Jan, one of three ninety-meter towers, for a great view of all of Walcheren. From Middelburg, the coast is also easily accessible. Visit one of the many nearby seaside resorts and swim, surf and sunbathe to your heart's content! Looking for a cultural outing? Then visit Mini Mundi, Kasteel Westhove or Deltapark Neeltje Jans.
