The house is named after the nearby museum, ‘Sjakie's Snoepwinkel’, which is located in the historic Huis ‘s-Hertogenbosch, directly adjacent to our property. The house is easily accessible by public transport. You can reach the holiday home on foot within 15 minutes. Or you can easily take the bus from the railway station. The nearest bus station is within a five-minute walk from the holiday home. Middelburg is an atmospheric city with a rich history. Stroll through the narrow alleys and streets. Many streets lead to squares such as Markt or Dam square. There you can experience the lively city life. Here you will find the many cafés, restaurants and boutiques. Adjacent to this you will also find the shopping streets. There are plenty of places of interest such as: The Abbey, Zeeuws Museum, City Hall and the Lange Jan. You can also climb it. At the top, you have a wonderful view over the whole of Middelburg. Every Thursday there is a market with fresh produce, clothes and other trinkets.
