The monumental Water Tower located in Middelburg, is a unique accommodation and a special experience. The Watertoren dates from the year 1891 and has been converted into a beautiful holiday residence. The tower is close to the centre of Middelburg and has a beautiful view over the city. From the tower, you can walk straight into the atmospheric town centre with its restaurants, shops and coffee shops. Middelburg has many great attractions to see, such as the Zeeuws Museum or the Abbey Tower of Long John. In addition, the beach is nearby, perfect for a day at the seaside.
Layout
The Water Tower has several floors with stunning 360-degree views of the city. On the second floor is the first bedroom with a double bed (160x200cm) with two bedside tables and wardrobe. The second bedroom is on the third floor and is also equipped with a double bed and storage space. On the fourth floor is the bathroom with a bathtub, sink and toilet. You enter the water tower on this floor via the lift.
The kitchen is located on the fifth floor and includes a hob, dishwasher, fridge, toaster, Nespresso machine and kettle. There is also a dining table with chairs. The sixth floor is equipped with a double bed (180x200cm), corner sofa with TV and a small kitchen with fridge, Nespresso machine and kettle. Here you will also find the second bathroom with a shower and toilet.
The seventh and also last floor is the roof terrace, which can be reached by stairs from the sixth floor. From this roof terrace you can enjoy the view, here is a table with four chairs, where you can sit comfortably. The tower has parking space for two cars.

Location and surroundings
The capital of Zeeland, Middelburg, is rich in culture and history. The city breathes cosiness and you will find good restaurants and cozy cafes. Special is the abbey complex, an almost circular building in the center of the city with a central square in the middle, surrounded by tall trees. This is the seat of the provincial government, as well as the Zeeland Museum. Climb there the Lange Jan, one of three ninety-meter towers, for a great view of all of Walcheren. From Middelburg, the coast is also easily accessible. Visit one of the many nearby seaside resorts and swim, surf and sunbathe to your heart's content! Looking for a cultural outing?
