Comfortable 4-person waterside holiday home in Medemblik, near the IJsselmeer
Welcome to this comfortable 4-person holiday home at Vakantiepark IJsselmeer, located in watery Medemblik. The park lies opposite the IJsselmeer and the holiday home on the inland water of the Vliet. And with a private jetty at your holiday home, it is a really good place to be: you can easily cast a fishing line from your own garden. The holiday home is located in the town of Medemblik, which is a tourist spot with all kinds of museums, sights and attractions for young and old. In addition, its unique location in the West Frisian landscape offers you plenty of opportunities for recreation. Besides walking and cycling, you can swim, sail and kite surf to your heart's content! Medemblik is also a bustling trading town from the VOC era where there is plenty to do and see. Also good to know: the park has a heated indoor swimming pool with slide and a brasserie with waterside terrace.
Layout
This comfortable holiday home with an area of around 100m2 was completely renovated and restyled in 2017. After entering, you will find the staircase upstairs, a guest toilet and a separate storage room directly in the hall. In the spacious living room there is a cosy seating area with television and French doors to the terrace. The house also has an open kitchen which includes a fridge freezer, combination microwave or oven, four-burner hob, filter coffee maker and kettle.
On the first floor you will find three bedrooms, one with a double box-spring bed and two bedrooms with a single box-spring bed each. There is a bathroom with shower, toilet and some with a bathtub. The holiday home has its own jetty and a garden with terrace facing the water. In addition, some houses have a fence on the waterfront. There is parking space for one car at the holiday home.

Medemblik is a picturesque town with old houses, narrow streets and picturesque facades. Medemblik and its surroundings offer a wealth of opportunities for relaxation: beautiful walking and cycling routes, the old cozy city center with many terraces and the authentic market on Saturdays in the summer months. Also visit Castle Radboud Medemblik, the Dutch Steam Engine Museum, the Zuiderzee Museum or Sprookjeswonderland. The city of Alkmaar is also worth a visit, every Friday you can see the famous cheese market. Nature and the many recreational areas in the area are ideal not only for sailors, but also for surfers, swimmers, sunbathers and anglers.
