Great 4 person Houseboat in a Belgian marina on the Maasplassen.
This fantastic four-person Houseboat is located in a Belgian marina "De Spaanjerd" on the Maasplassen in the Belgian Ophoven near Roermond. Experience the unique feeling of freedom that sailing with your own Houseboat gives you. Would you like to spend your next holiday on the water, romantically as a couple or with the children or friends? Then this is really something for you. From this Houseboat it is also very nice to explore the area by bike or car. How about the small white town of Thorn at three kilometers or a day of shopping in Roermond (Outlet) or Historic Maastricht. The caves of beautiful Valkenburg or the Sint Pietersberg are also definitely worth a visit. For those who stay at home, enjoy swimming, fishing and sailing in the Maasplassen!
Layout
There is a combined living room and bedroom. In addition to the bunk bed, you can convert the seating area into a comfortable double bed in a few simple steps. The kitchen on board has all the necessary kitchen appliances; a refrigerator, filter coffee maker, kettle, sink and a gas stove. The warm air heating, together with the bioethanol wall fireplace, provides pleasant warmth and a cozy atmosphere even on cold days. The small bathroom, toilet and (cold water) outdoor shower can be reached via the rear terrace. For slightly more extensive sanitary facilities, you can visit the neat toilet block of the marina. The cozy lounge set on the bow terrace is a wonderful place to enjoy nature, sun and water.

Particularities
- You book this boat with a fixed berth in the marina. If the weather is nice, it is possible to book a sailing package for €160. This sailing package includes a one-hour sailing training. This is compulsory even if you already have a boating licence. Afterwards, you may sail on the Maasplassen with your rented houseboat. All this can be indicated when booking or agreed on the spot.

Ophoven is a small Belgian village, in the Municipality of Kimrooi, near the Dutch border near Stevensweert, Echt and Roermond. In Ophoven you can go for all your daily shopping and also for a bite to eat in a restaurant or chip shop. Ophoven is located on the Maas near the Maasplassen. Water sports enthusiasts and boating enthusiasts are well catered for here. From Ophoven you can make nice trips in the area. Shopping in Roermond (Outlet) and Maastricht. But how about a day trip to South Limburg with its Historic Valkenburg and beautiful Gulpen. To hit a ball on the golf course, you can go to nearby Susteren. Surprising destination!
