Layout
This authentic farmhouse is over 300 years old. According to the stories, Napoleon still slept in this barn. A house with a story!
In this former barn belonging to the farm, a holiday home has been realised. Modern, but also stylish and with respect for authenticity. Part of the barn has been retained, so it is even possible to bring your own horse. The kitchen diner is equipped with, among other things, a spacious gas cooker, Senseo coffee machine, kettle, oven and microwave. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor: one bedroom with a double bed (160x200cm) and one bedroom with bunk beds (90x190cm). The double bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with shower, 2 washbasins and toilet. The third bedroom is upstairs and has two separate single box-spring beds (90x200cm) which can be pushed together. The living room on the first floor is cosily decorated with authentic details. You can see the thick barn beams in the interior. The second bathroom is also on the first floor and has a shower and washbasin. The garden is spacious and faces south.

Facilities
Location and surroundings
As busy as trading town IJzendijke used to be, the village is quiet now. IJzendijke has a rich history. IJzendijke was under French rule for several decades. Because of its many cafes reminiscent of Paris, IJzendijke has traditionally been called Petit Paris. The village erected a small version of the famous Eiffel Tower to emphasise its character. IJzendijke not only has a rich history, but the nature surrounding the village is also beautiful. For instance, the Braakman nature reserve is nearby. Here you can go for lovely walks and enjoy the peace and quiet. Besides the market square, IJzendijke has an old windmill and beautiful church to admire.
