Beautiful 2 person houseboat in the center of Heerenveen

This beautiful and beautifully furnished houseboat can be found in the Frisian town of Heerenveen. The houseboat is located in a quiet canal within walking distance of the center and the station. From the houseboat you have a beautiful view over the water. A unique experience to sleep here. In the pleasant center of Heerenveen you will find many nice shops and cozy restaurants and terraces. If you like art, the Belvédère museum, a museum of modern and contemporary art, is definitely recommended. In the area you can also make wonderful walking, cycling and sailing trips. Not far from Heerenveen are the Sneekermeer, the Tjeukemeer and the Weerribben and Wieden National Park with beautiful Giethoorn.

Layout

You sleep on a spacious double bed and you have access to a luxurious bathroom with shower and toilet. In the living room you can relax on a lovely sofa. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, oven, hob and fridge.

Heerenveen, Friesland

Heerenveen is located in the southeast of the province of Friesland. In the pleasant center of Heerenveen you can go shopping in the many nice shops and enjoy a bite to eat in the many cozy restaurants. If you like museums, the Belvédère Museum is a must. This museum is located just outside Heerenveen. In the area you can also make wonderful walking and cycling trips. Not far from Heerenveen are the Sneekermeer and the Tjeukemeer. Two beautiful lakes where you can really relax on and around the water. If you go to Overijssel, the Weerribben Wieden National Park with its beautiful wetlands and the beautiful lake area around Giethoorn is definitely worth a visit.

We had a fabulous time on the houseboat. We couldn’t figure out the washer but after an outing we got home and a very kind man came to our door and showed us how to operate said washing machine. Would definitely come back here to stay.
