3 persons basic lodge on a holiday park on the Veluwe

This lodge is suitable for two adults and a child and is located on a holiday park. Bungalowpark Het Verscholen Dorp is situated on the edge of the Veluwe in the village of Harderwijk. Less than ten minutes away, you enter a completely different world of greenery and tranquillity. Harderwijk is a cosy and culinary Hanseatic town with plenty of cosy terraces, coffee shops and shops. In the centre, you can take a lovely stroll and discover the historical elements. You can also explore the surroundings on foot or by bike. There are walking routes you can use. Coming back from a walk or a bike tour and you don't feel like cooking? No problem, you can enjoy a delicious meal at the Italian restaurant La Famiglia.

Layout

This basic lodge has a living room with a seating and dining area, a television and free Wi-Fi. The kitchen includes a 4-burner cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle and filter coffee maker. There is one bedroom with a double bed and one bedroom with a bunk bed. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. Outside, there is a furnished terrace and parking for one car.

Location and surroundings

Harderwijk, Gelderland

Harderwijk is situated in the middle of the Veluwe forests on the Veluwe Lake. You can cycle and walk through the beautiful countryside to your heart's content here. The Veluwemeer lake with Strand Horst invites you to swim, sunbathe, wind- and kite-surf. There are several golf courses nearby, including on the beach, in the Leuvenumse Bos and in the polder. Harderwijk has a cosy centre with a variety of shops, cafés and restaurants. Visit the friendly nearby towns, Nunspeet and Elburg for fine terraces or Amersfoort and Apeldoorn for great shopping. For a day out, visit Walibi Holland in Biddinghuizen, Paleis Het Loo in Apeldoorn or one of the many other castles in the area.

Huis was netjes bij aankomst, mooie omgeving. Enige nadeel was dat de CV tijdens over verblijf (vrijdag t/m maandag) 3 keer in storing is gegaan (ook tijdens het douchen). In de nacht was de cv schijnbaar ook uitgegaan dus werden we wakker met 8.5 graad in het huisje. Na een snelle reset deed hij het wel weer, maar dit was toch niet prettig.

Wat vervelend dat de CV van de accommodatie steeds in storing sprong, dat is uiteraard niet te bedoeling. U had hier gerust contact met ons over op mogen nemen, wij zijn 24/7 bereikbaar en hadden dit graag verholpen. Desalniettemin vinden wij het fijn om te horen dat u een leuk verblijf heeft gehad en willen u bedanken voor de review!
