A comfortable 4-person vacation home with spacious garden, in the Frisian village of Grou
Discover this beautiful vacation home in the picturesque Frisian village of Grou, suitable for up to four people. Located in the heart of Friesland, Grou offers an authentic Dutch experience with its charming canals and historic atmosphere. Grou itself has much to offer, with its cozy restaurants and stores. Moreover, you are within a 60 kilometer radius of historic castles, beautiful nature reserves and charming villages where time seems to have stood still. This vacation home offers the ideal balance of comfort and adventure, making it a great choice for families, couples or groups of friends.
Layout
The cottage offers a spacious living room with a corner sofa, armchair and a smart TV, ideal for relaxing evenings. The fully equipped kitchen has an oven/microwave, induction hob, fridge with three freezer compartments, dishwasher and all necessary kitchen utensils. On the second floor there are two bedrooms, each with sloping ceilings and fly screens. The first bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has two singel beds. There is an extra room with closets; it is possible to add a crib here. The bathroom has a large shower, sink and toilet. There is also a separate toilet on the first floor. Outside, the garden is almost completely surrounded by a green hedge. A terrace with lounge set allows you to enjoy the beautiful spacious garden of no less than 350 square meters. In the attached shed you can store your bicycles. It is possible to park two cars on the private driveway and there is a charging station available for electric cars.

- Energy cost EUR 7.00 per night is an estimate. After stay, the consumed energy will be calculated.
- One pet is allowed. Pets are not allowed on the sofa and beds.

Location and surroundings
The Frisian town of Grou is a cosy and picturesque water sports village that is bustling with activities, especially in summer. It has nice shops and several restaurants. Grou lies on the Pikmeer, from where you can easily sail to the Frisian Lakes. The National Landscape Alde Feanen is also nearby. This unique nature reserve of almost 2,500 hectares consists of a varied landscape with reed beds, lakes and marsh forests. You can reach Leeuwarden in just over 15 minutes by car. A beautiful city with historic mansions, attractive canals, hundreds of monuments, interesting museums and nice shops and restaurants.
