The holiday home is located on the grounds of the owner's farm and there are many animals, including ponies, chickens, goats, sheep and dogs. There is a large pond adjacent to the garden which is well fenced to protect small children. Swimming is not allowed in the pond. There is some play equipment for the children in the garden.

Grijpskerke is a small but lively village and is centrally located in the Walcheren countryside, approximately five kilometers from Middelburg, which means that whatever you want to do, you never have to go far, as the beaches, forests and the Veerse Meer are located within a radius of three kilometers. There are many marked cycling routes that lead you via quiet paths and roads through the beautiful landscape to various historic towns and villages.
