Beautiful 2-person holiday home right on the village canal in Giethoorn, Overijssel

This double holiday home is fantastically located right on the village canal in Giethoorn. The holiday home is spacious and is the front part of a farmhouse. Giethoorn is a picturesque water village in the middle of the lake district of the Kop van Overijssel. From here, you can explore De Wieden nature reserve and De Weerribben National Park. You can do this by bike or by whisper boat. The canals with their characteristic bridges and thatched farmhouses make Giethoorn unforgettable. Fans of water sports such as sailing or water-skiing will also enjoy themselves to their hearts' content in Giethoorn and its surroundings. Visit Kalenberg, Ossenzijl or Blokzijl. For shopping, visit the cosy towns of Steenwijk or Meppel.

Layout

This double holiday home is located in the front part of a residential farmhouse. The living room is spacious and features a comfortable seating area with a sofa, two armchairs and a ambilight TV. The dining area has a large dining table with six nice chairs. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher, combi-oven, hob and fridge. The bedroom has a double bed and the bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. Outside, you have a large terrace with a beautiful flower garden and views of the canal. Parking is possible 80 metres from the holiday home, this is nearby and unpaid.

Sail through the water village, discover the cosy terraces and restaurants, and visit museums. Explore the surroundings by taking a nice walking or cycling tour through the beautiful park and discover the unique flora and fauna the park has to offer. Rather do something active? Then take to the heights at klimbos Paasloo. Fun for children! If you would like to visit a big city and go shopping, you can go to Steenwijk, Meppel or Zwolle.

Sehr gepflegtes Haus mit schönem Garten und Terrasse. Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr sauber und geräumig. Die Kommunikation mit unserer Gastgeberin Anja hat prima geklappt und zum Abschied bekamen wir einen ganzen Karton Äpfel aus dem eigenen Garten geschenkt. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und empfehlen diese Wohnung gerne weiter.
