The holiday home is surrounded by a beautiful, natural environment; ideal for lovers of walking and cycling. Visit the Witte Nete valley and discover all the natural beauty that Belgium has to offer. You can go for a lovely swim at De Lilse Bergen, which is a large lake with a sandy beach surrounded by pine trees and equipped with a playground and restaurants. Great for a summer day out! The town of Gierle is surrounded by greenery and is a woody part of the province of Antwerp. The cycling and walking routes pass right behind this holiday home. Go exploring in Lille and visit one of the many nature reserves such as Het Grotenhout, Kindernouw, Den Heart and the Visbeek Valley. Your children can play to their heart's content in Toverstad, a 9,000m2 outdoor playground, or in less clement weather pay a visit to Speelstad, a 5,000m2 indoor playground!

This modern holiday home is suitable for four people, well insulated and equipped with, among other things, a heat pump boiler and heat pump air conditioning. The living room is decorated with beautiful, contemporary furniture and features a seating area and a dining area. The beautiful, open-plan kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher, induction hob, fridge, freezer, kettle and Dolce Gusto coffee machine. There are two bedrooms in the holiday home. One bedroom with one double bed and one bedroom with two single beds. The bathroom has a rain shower and a double sink, and there is a separate toilet. Outside there is a hot tub and a private garden with a terrace equipped with a dining table with four chairs and two deck chairs. There is also a campfire area with a barbecue griddle where you can sit together. You can park your car at the accommodation.

Gierle is located in the Belgian municipality of Lille, one of the greenest municipalities in the province of Antwerp. Walkers will find their heart's content here. Visit nature reserves such as Den Haert, Het Grotenhout, Kindernouw or the Visbeek Valley. The areas are characterised by marsh forests, heathland, woods and ponds. Besides the many water birds, dragonflies and butterflies, you may also spot a roe deer or see bats flying. There is enough to discover in this beautiful, green, Belgian nature. If you love history, the walks about the war past in Gierle are a must. The Second World War struck hard there, and these walks make that period tangible again.
