Cosy, detached 40 person group accommodation
Beautiful 40 person group accommodation in Drenthe at Familiepark Hunzepark. This holiday park is located near the town of Gasselternijveen. This family park is located on a large recreational lake, and has a beautiful outdoor swimming pool. For a snack and drink you can go to the restaurant with a lovely terrace. During the school holidays there is an animation team that organizes the best activities. Holiday park Hunzepark is very suitable for young and old. In Drenthe, true nature lovers can indulge in the beautiful surroundings where you can take beautiful walks and bike rides.
Layout
This group accommodation has a recreation room / dining room and there is a sitting area. The spacious kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, filter coffee maker and oven. There is a sanitary room with four showers and three toilets and an adapted shower and toilet room for the disabled. In total there are ten bedrooms with two bunk beds each. The house has a terrace on the water with patio furniture. There is parking space for ten cars next to the accommodation.

- This type of holiday home includes properties that allow pets and that are pet-free. Are you unable to specify pets in the booking process for your travel party? Then unfortunately there is no holiday home available where pets are allowed.
- These holiday homes cannot be rented for business purposes and the main booker must be at least 21 years old.
- The park reserves the right to charge a deposit between EUR 50 and EUR 500 per person on site. This deposit depends on the group composition. Please take this into account when making your reservation.
- The interior / exterior of these holiday homes may differ.
- The facilities are closed from the 1st of November untill the 1st of April.
- This holidaypark does not allow cars, but you can bring your luggage to your holidayhome.
- The outdoor swimming pool is open from early May to mid-September, this can be changed due to weather conditions. During the months when the pool is closed, from mid-September to the beginning of May, you can use the swimming paradise at Vakantiepark Hunzedal. This park is 15 minutes away by car.
- Due to maintenance work, the swimming pool at Vakantiepark Hunzepark will be closed from Monday 6 January 2025 to Friday 17 January 2025.

The village of Gasselternijveen lies on the Drentse heuvelrug, also known as the Hondsrug. Here you will find peace, beautiful nature, characteristic villages and, of course, the famous dolmens. A beautiful and varied environment to explore on foot or by bike. On the small rivers De Hunze and De Drentse Aa you can make nice canoe trips and the Zuidlaardermeer is ideal if you like swimming, fishing or sailing. For an educational day out, visit the Drents Museum in Assen, Herinneringscentrum Kamp Westerbork or Museumdorp Orvelte. Looking for more thrills? Go climbing and scrambling at Outdoor Klimpark Grolloo, walk metres above the ground at Boomkroonpad or visit Drouwenerzand amusement park.

Eine schöner Park mit vielen Angeboten für jüngere Kinder. Das Haus pragmatisch gut. Ist nicht der modernste Standard, was ich aber eher positiv finde.

Alle kamers voorzien van (oude) stapelbedden, vast aan de muur. Matrassen wel ok en beddengoed is verplicht bij de huur. Erg gehorig huis en niet voldoende ruimte in de keuken om te koken voor 40 pers. Daarentegen wel een goede en snelle vaatwasser en omgeving prachtig, vriendelijk personeel! Al met al genoten, maar de prijs wel aan de hoge kant!!

De accommodatie was ronduit vies, kleverige vloer en slecht/niet schoongemaakt na de vorige gasten. Ook bleken er veel spullen kapot te zijn, denk aan lattenbodems, tafels op de slaapkamers en de tuinset. Tijdens de eerste nacht zijn er zelfs 2 mensen door de bedden heen gezakt!
Gelukkig zijn we met het servicepunt tot een oplossing gekomen.
