Cozy 2 person studio near the woods of Steenwijk in Eesveen.
This very charming, romantic and idyllic two-person holiday home is situated on the edge of the village of Eesveen. The former "boiler house" stands in the yard of a farm. From the cottage you cycle within two minutes to the beautiful and wooded Landgoed de Eese. A historic Estate with beautiful stately farmhouses and country houses. The town of Steenwijk, with its origins in the Middle Ages, is worth a visit. Good shopping or a teracce on the historic market square. The water village Giethoorn is about 10 kilometers and can not be missed on your bucket list during your stay in Eesveen. Would you rather go back in time? Then pay a visit to the Koloniën van Weldadigheid, which is included in the Unesco World Heritage List. In Frederiksoord, Wilhelminaoord and Veenhuizen, you will find centuries-old settlements that were established in 1818 to combat poverty. Do we see you in Eesveen?
Layout
This double studio in Eesveen is entirely on the ground floor. You can sit, cook and sleep in the living room. This space is equipped with French doors to the beautifully landscaped terrace. In the living room you will find a cozy sitting area with television and a double dining area. The kitchen is equipped with a two-ring cooker, fridge, microwave, kettle and filter coffee maker. In the living room there are also two comfortable single box spring beds which are made for you on arrival. Furthermore, in this cottage a spacious and neat shower with a sink, there is a separate toilet. There is no central heating in this double studio, you can choose from three types of heat sources on arrival: an electric decorative fireplace, oil radiator or convector heating. Please also note that there is no washing machine available. For longer stays there may is a washing facility in the farmhouse next to the holiday home.

Location and surroundings
Surrounded by nature reserves De Woldberg and De Eese, the Eesveen area is the perfect location for true nature lovers. Take a lovely walk or cycle ride through nature and enjoy the peace and quiet. The charming fortified town of Steenwijk is also nearby: here you will find shops and nice restaurants where you can enjoy a snack and a drink, among other things. Authentic Giethoorn is also nearby and certainly worth a visit. Hire a boat and discover the surroundings of National Park Weerribben-Wieden or visit the cosy village. In Giethoorn, you have the opportunity to enjoy the many small canals that have earned the village the name Venice of the North.
