Spacious 6 person vacation villa near the beach in Burg-Haamstede, Zeeland

This beautiful detached six-person vacation villa is made of sustainable building materials and is located in a wooded area near the beach. It is located near Camping De Duinhoeve, where you can make use of all facilities. The campsite is an ideal place for children, with a water playground, various indoor and outdoor play facilities and an entertainment program. Once everyone has finished playing, you can enjoy a bite to eat in the restaurant or order something tasty from the snack bar or pizzeria. For small groceries, you don't have to look far, as there is a camping supermarket available. Adults can also enjoy various activities at the campground, including miniature golf, billiards, darts and relaxing in the saunas and spa pools. If you want to explore more of the island of Schouwen-Duiveland, there is plenty to do outside the campground as well. Burgh-Haamstede and the surrounding area offer beautiful natural areas, such as the dune-rich nature reserve "Kop van Schouwen". Here you can walk, cycle and bring your binoculars, because there are countless special birds to spot! Also visit the Oosterscheldekering and make an immediate stop at Neeltje Jans: an amusement park and museum about the Delta Works, where you can enjoy delicious mussels and oysters, fresh from the Oosterschelde.

Layout

The vacation villa is located on a spacious plot. Thanks to the large glass facades, you can enjoy the view of the green fenced garden from the entire living area. In the living room there is a comfortable seating area with television. The staircase leading upstairs comes out in the middle of the living room, creating a cozy separation between the living and dining areas. The dining table is an extension of the kitchen. The corner kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, combination microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, filter coffee maker and kettle, among other things. On the first floor there is also a bedroom with a double bed consisting of two single mattresses (90x200 cm) and an adjoining bathroom with a sink and shower. On the second floor there are two bedrooms with two single beds. Both bedrooms have a closet. The bathroom has a sink and a walk-in shower and there is a separate toilet. From the living room you step directly onto the terrace, here you can enjoy complete privacy. Two cars can be parked opposite the holiday home.

Location and surroundings

Burgh-Haamstede, Zeeland

From Burgh-Haamstede, the whole of Schouwen-Duiveland is actually at your feet. Burgh and Haamstede were once independent villages, but have grown together to form a tourist resort. In the village, you will find the more than 50-metre-high Westerlichttoren lighthouse. Built in 1837, it is one of the largest lighthouses in the Netherlands. Definitely worth a visit! From here, authentic Zierikzee, popular Renesse and historical Bruinisse (also known as the mussel village) are also highly recommended and easy to reach. Prefer a day of culture? Then visit Deltapark Neeltje Jans or the Watersnoodmuseum in Ouwerkerk; both also very interesting.
