Cosy 2 p. flat in a farmhouse in Bemmel, also suitable for the disabled
Welcome to Bemmel, Gelderland! Explore this cosy double flat in a farmhouse, located in one of Bemmel's oldest streets. It is located on the edge of the Lingezegen Landscape Park, just 1.5 km from the city centre. Explore the enchanting Betuwe region and enjoy its horticulture, fruit orchards and historic hiking trails. Behold nearby sights such as Fort Pannerden, Doornenburg Castle and War Museum No Man's Land. Explore beautiful dykes and forests by bike, or follow walking routes along monumental buildings, wooden shoes paths and rivers. For shopping and a cosy terrace, visit Arnhem (12 km) or Nijmegen (9 km).
Layout
The flat features a living room with a seating and dining area and a TV. The kitchen includes a hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer, kettle and a Senseo. Note that the kitchen is owners' access to the garden and they occasionally use the tap, kettle and Senseo. There is a bedroom with two single beds. In the bathroom there is a shower, sink, hip bath and toilet. There is a furnished terrace outside. Bicycles can be stored and charged inside; a tyre repair kit and bicycle pump are also provided. Parking is available at the farmhouse.
For people with disabilities, this flat has the following adaptations:
- No thresholds, except at the entrance to the flat.
- Spacious bathroom with shower without cabin, equipped with shower handle.
- A shower seat and toilet handles can be connected if known in advance.
- Bath is slightly recessed in the floor making transfer less high. This is a sitting bath with an elevation on one side.
- Sockets are usually 1 metre high.
- Kitchen counter height 85 cm.

- Note that the kitchen is owners' access to the garden and they occasionally use the tap, kettle and Senseo. Also, the garden is not strictly separated from the owners' garden, you will run into each other.

Bemmel, Gelderland
Bemmel is a medium-sized town in the Betuwe region. Bemmel is close to the river Waal and near Nijmegen and Arnhem. For all daily necessities, but also for nice restaurants and pavement cafes, Bemmel or Lingewaard are the place to be. For a day at the zoo, Burgers Zoo is highly recommended. Visit one of the castles in the area, or go shopping in Nijmegen or Arnhem. Take a cruise on the Pancake Boat from the Waalkade in Nijmegen, or visit the historic Fort Pannerden. There are various opportunities for swimming in natural water in the area, but there is also an indoor swimming pool in Bemmel.

Wij hadden een fijne vakantie in de Klomp. Alles ruim, fijne tuin, super bedden, prettige gastvrouw en heer! Wij bevelen het van harte aan!

Ronald en Monique zijn ontzettend vriendelijke en gastvrije mensen. Wij hebben het er erg naar ons zin gehad. Heerlijke bedden (gelukkig zonder plastic molton). En het delen van de keuken stelt niks voor, de keuken heb je eigenlijk “gewoon” voor jezelf. Je kijkt uit op hun mooie tuin en mag daar ook heerlijk zitten. Echt een aanrader!

Vriendelijke verhuurders. Leuke plek en een heerlijke omgeving voor fietsen en wandelen. Leuk appartement liggend in de boerderij. Wat in de tekst wordt weergegeven klopt helemaal. Je hebt geen hinder van de bewoners die af en toe door de keuken lopen naar de tuin. Dit is maar sporadisch en ook meestal als de huurders niet aanwezig zijn.
