Location and surroundings
Beek-Ubbergen is surrounded by beautiful natural areas, each with a unique diversity of landscapes. There are many cycling and hiking routes in the area. Mountain bikers will also be in their element here: the Groesbeekse forest Reichswald, for example, has over seventy kilometres of mountain bike routes. Fancy a day trip to a city? Then visit Nijmegen, the oldest city in the Netherlands known as Noviomagus in Roman times. Here you will enjoy the beautiful architecture, many shops and terraces. Switch off your sight and let a blind person show you around the MuZIEum museum or, in summer, go to the Wylerberg Lake where you can enjoy swimming, water sports and hiking.
