Detached 4-person holiday home on the edge of the woods in Appelscha
This spacious, detached holiday home offers a quiet location with lots of privacy and a large garden, where you can enjoy the sun all day. Located at the edge of the Drents-Friese Wold, you walk across a grassy field straight into the woods, ideal for walking and cycling enthusiasts. Moreover, the accommodation is very close to Overijssel and Friesland, which offers additional opportunities for exploration. The house has been completely renovated and has a bright, high living room with floor-to-ceiling windows, offering beautiful views. Modern sanitary facilities are available. Upstairs is a second bedroom with a workspace and views of the meadows. On colder days, the cosy Janus wood-burning stove provides extra warmth. The canopy in the spacious garden is a nice place to relax while enjoying nature and the peace and quiet around you.

National Park Drents-Friese Wold guarantees hours of hiking and cycling pleasure through varied landscapes of woods, heathland, shifting sands and grasslands. The sheepfold of Doldersum is nearby and here you can watch how the shepherds daily with the flock Schoonebeker heath sheep into the field. Do you fancy a day of water fun for young and old? Then visit Bosbad Appelscha (a heated outdoor pool in the middle of the forest) or the Canadameer (deep recreational swimming lake in the middle of the National Park Drents-Friese Wold. In Appelscha itself there is also plenty to do: there are markets, restaurants, cafes, Amusement Park Duinen Zathe and an outdoor theater that is definitely worth a visit.
