Modern lodge with sauna on a joyful holiday park on Ameland.
This modern four-person lodge is located at Boomhiemke holiday park. Young and old will enjoy themselves here on perhaps the most beautiful part of Ameland. The playgrounds, the swimming pool and the animation team in the summer guarantee a carefree holiday for the whole family. The beautiful location at the foot of the Hollumer dunes and with the Jan Roepesheide nature reserve right next door, you are assured of a wonderful weekend or week on the Wadden island of Ameland. Even outside the summer months it is wonderful to stay here because after a breath of fresh air on the nearby beach, the infrared sauna is waiting for you when you return.
Layout
The lodge was newly built in 2016 and has a modern look. The holiday home has its own garden with garden furniture where you can enjoy the murmuring sea and the chirping of the birds. Inside, the single-storey holiday lodge is as attractive as it is modern. The spacious living room is characterized by the many windows and flows through the dining area into the semi-open kitchen with a Senseo coffee machine. The lodge has two bedrooms with single box spring beds, an infra sauna and two bathrooms with shower and a separate toilet. Parking is available a short distance from the holiday home.

Particularities
- This type of holiday home includes properties that allow pets and that are pet-free. Are you unable to specify pets in the booking process for your travel party? Then unfortunately there is no holiday home available where pets are allowed.
- The crossing to the Wadden island of Ameland takes about 45 minutes. Should you decide to take the car with you to Ameland, please note that you must reserve a place for your car on the ferry well in advance. For pedestrians, the boat is accessible at all times. Book the ferry on 0900 9238. Information about the departure times can be found at www.wpd.nl.
- These holiday homes cannot be rented for business purposes and the main booker must be at least 21 years old.
- The park reserves the right to charge a deposit between EUR 50 and EUR 500 per person on site. This deposit depends on the group composition. Please take this into account when making your reservation.
- Please note that in the period early November 2023 to early April 2024, the Koos Kids Club will be closed and there will be no recreational programme.
- Please note that in the low season, the facilities are open on a limited basis from Tuesday to Thursday.

On this island you can fully enjoy beautiful nature. Rent bicycles and make beautiful trips through the dunes or go for an amazing walk on the beach. On Ameland you will find several museums and one of them is the Cultuurhistorisch Museum, where you can learn all about Ameland's traditions. But if you do not come for the cultural entertainment and prefer to look for the action, this is also a good place to be. As a water sports enthusiast, you will be in luck: swimming, fishing, canoeing and kite surfing are all possible on the island. And of course, after an active day there is time for a snack and a drink in one of the many beach pavilions, restaurants or cafes. Ameland is definitely a great place to be!
