5 persons chalet with sauna and whirlpool on recreation park Esmeer
You will stay in a five-person chalet with a sauna and bubble bath on recreation park Esmeer. On your way to the Bommelerwaard you can see the recreation park in the distance. The river Maas and recreational lake 'het Esmeer' are separated by the park. You will find complete tranquillity here. Once you take your first step into the park, you will be met by the fresh scent of grass. Fun and entertainment can also be found outside the recreation park. The beautiful cycling and walking routes available at reception are great for cycling and walking.
Layout
The living room has a sitting and dining area with a television and there is free Wifi. The kitchen includes a microwave, fridge-freezer and a Nespresso. There is a bedroom with two single beds and a bedroom with a bunk bed and a single bed. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. Outside there is a garden with a furnished terrace, a hot tub and a sauna. There is parking for one car.

- If you have booked a cottage with hot tub, the hot tub takes about 1.5 hours to heat up. The hot tubs are electric.

In the surroundings of Aalst you can relax. Choose one of the many bicycle routes in the region and discover the beautiful surroundings. Take a look at Schloss Loevestein or Stadskasteel Zaltbommel, both beautiful historic buildings with a special story. The beautiful National Park De Loonse en Drunense Duinen is definitely worth a visit if you want to spend a day hiking. For an epic day out, visit the Efteling in Kaatsheuvel or go climbing and scrambling at Klimpark Biesbosch in Hank. In the summer, enjoy De Neswaarden where you can swim, sunbathe or do one of the many water sports. For a pleasant terrace, go to beautiful Gorinchem or store around in Den Bosch.

Wij vonden het park en het huisje erg tegenvallen. Het park bestaat voor het grootste deel (het deel met het mooiste uitzicht over het water) uit particuliere huisjes. Daardoor oogt het erg rommelig en is er geen uitzicht. De sauna werd niet warmer dan 60 graden, was bij alle sauna's zo werd ons verteld. Huisje erg stoffig.

Het huisje viel tegen, de sauna werd de eerste paar dagen niet goed warm. Er waren geen haakjes in de badkamer waar je bijvoorbeeld een handdoek kan ophangen en geen wasrekje. Dat is met vijf personen wel vervelend want je hebt als je gebruik maakt van de sauna en whirlpool allemaal natte handdoeken en badkleding.
